Potfest Scotland Sat May 29th - Mon May 31st 2010
The 13th Scottish Potfest will take place at a new location this year. The old site at Perth was no longer available and the event has relocated to the new Agricultural Centre, Stirling.
Just off Junction 10 of M9 the new venue is 2 miles from Stirling town centre - all under cover with a restaurant, and free parking for 500 cars. Access is excellent and the complex is approx. 30 mins from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and the borders.
Please dress warmly as the venue can be cold in May.
Open Studios 5th - 6th June 2010 11 - 4pm at Higherford Mill, Gisburn Road, Barrowford.
Higherford Mill will be open to the public to visit the artist studios.
On display will be ceramics, glass, paintings, jewellery etc by the resident artists in the mill.
Potfest in the Park July 30,31st August 1st 2010 10 - 5pm daily
Hutton-in-the-Forest stands 7 miles northwest of Penrith, Cumbria.
(M6 junction 41) - on the edge of the stunningly beautiful Lake District National Park.
Over 100 exhibitors from all over Europe and beyond....all with very distinctive individual styles ....all passionate about working with clay.
