Description
Rupert the Roe deer is a maquette for a larger sculpture but I had to recycle it as even though I measured the big kiln and drew around the kiln shelf on the board I was making him on he still would not fit. Honestly his ears were magnificent. So anyway Rupert was too lovely to recycle and he went in the kiln with my students deer.
Stoneware, oxides and underglaze. Mounted on an oak plinth
