Wonky Whippets

Description

These wonky whippets came about when I was playing with some ideas of small affordable sculptures that I could slip into the gaps in the kiln when I am firing students work. The wonkiness came about when the studio was bitterly cold and I left them with the glue drying overnight and a few of them wiggled in an attempt to try to keep warm!

I love making them and a few other sighthounds have creeped in to the mix too.

Harper – fawn and white with a navy and white polka dot bandana
Leela – white podenco
Brian – caramel and white podenco
Burt – brown brindle
Aurora – fawn brindle with a red and white heart bandana
Finn – grey and white with a red and white polka dot bandana
Dillan – fawn and white with a chocolate brown fishtail collar
Wilf – scruffy salt and pepper with a chocolate brown fishtail collar
Rupert – grey amd white with a red bandana with white hearts
Jim – brindle with a tweed bandana

Roaching whippets
Lily – fawn and white roaching whippet/lurcher/saluki with a brown fishtail collar
Ruby – blue and white roaching whippet/lurcher with a red bandana with white hearts
Magnus – black and white roaching whippet/lurcher with a red bandana with white hearts
jess – black and white whippet/lurcher
